This course is for anyone hoping for a vaginal birth who wants to feel calm, prepared, and confident when labour begins. You'll learn how to work with your body during birth, make informed decisions, reduce fear, and approach labour with the knowledge and tools to support achieve the birth you want.
This course is also for any birthing partners that want to know how to be a kick-ass birth support, keeping the environment calm, facilitating communication and advocacy with medical staff, and providing grounded invaluable birth support.
This course is entirely self paced. Purchasing this course gives you access to the course for 30 weeks, after 30 weeks access is removed. You have up to 33 weeks to make your way through the course content in your own time in your own way.
There is NO compulsory course work. There are a few prompts provided, requesting attendees to answer the reflections, however this is entirely optional.
You can start the course at any stage of pregnancy, but many parents find it most beneficial during the second or early third trimester. Starting earlier gives you plenty of time to absorb the information, practise the techniques, dispel misconceptions and anxieties, so that you can then switch OFF the thinking, information gathering brain and ENJOY the rest of your pregnancy.
The course covers everything you need to feel informed and prepared for birth, including how labour works, pain management techniques, birth partner support, informed decision-making, creating a positive birth environment, biomechanics, practical tips, birth preferences, navigating the medical model of birth, hypnobirthing, and preparing for the early postpartum period.
Yes. The course is specifically designed to help you prepare for a confident and positive vaginal birth by laying a strong foundation of understanding physiological birth so you can support it, teaching practical tools, evidence-based strategies, and techniques that support your body throughout labour and birth.
Absolutely. Actually its is essential for any birth partners to be fully informed as well. We strongly encourage partners and birth partners to take the course alongside you. Birth is a team effort, and when your support person understands what's happening and how to help, it can make a huge difference to your experience.
Your birth partner will learn practical ways to support you during labour, including comfort measures, communication techniques, advocacy, decision-making support, and how to help create a calm and positive birth environment.

Evidence is always changing and evolving, so information is subject to change. The course work is also based on over 13 years of anecdotal experience and expertise.
This course has been created by an experienced birthkeeper who has supported births in a wide range of settings, from busy hospitals to remote communities with limited resources lacking even running water! That real-world experience shapes every lesson, combining evidence-based knowledge with practical guidance that actually works when labour begins.
Rather than relying on long lectures, the course uses a blend of video, audio, visual learning, and downloadable resources to help you understand, remember, and apply what you're learning. You'll also be signposted to trusted sources and additional support, so you know where to turn for further information when you need it.

Yes, however this is more than a hypnobirthing course, expanding far beyond. Our hypnobirthing portion, dives into the key hypnobirthing principles and techniques while remaining grounded and practical, leaving any unrealistic, or gimmick-y ideas that will actually be a diss service behind.
Yes. While the course is designed for those hoping for a vaginal birth, it also covers common interventions and alternative birth scenarios so you can make informed decisions and feel prepared whatever path your birth takes.
As soon as you enrol, you'll receive access to the course materials and can begin straight away. Simply log in, start learning, and work through the content at your own pace.
Birth doesn't always unfold exactly as expected, and that's okay. The goal of this course isn't to guarantee a specific type of birth, it's to help you feel informed, confident, and prepared to make decisions throughout your journey. No matter how your birth unfolds, you'll have the knowledge and tools to navigate it with greater confidence and calm.
This will be different for everyone. There are over 30 videos ranging from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, and over 8 slides, along with multiple audio clips, and a few reflection prompts.
No, one purchase gives access to you and your birthing partners.
